Professor Emad Munir El-Omar, the Editor in Chief of the journal GUT, visited Tianjin Medical University Cancer Institute & Hospital (TMUCIH)

  Professor Emad Munir El-Omar, the Editor in Chief of the Journal GUT; Director of the Microbiome Research Center, St George and Sutherland Clinical School, University of New South Wales, Australia, was invited to visit TMUCIH on November 8th, 2019. Professor Lu Wei, Party Secretary of TMUCIH, Director of the Tianjin Liver Cancer Research Center for Prevention and treatment; Prof. Wang Ping, President of TMUCIH; Prof. Hao Jihui and Prof. Xu Bo, Vice Presidents of TMUCIH, Dr.Song Tianqiang, Director of Department of Hepatobiliary Cancer, and liver cancer center team participated the reception.

  On the occassion of attending the Third International Summit on Standardized Treatment of Hepatobiliary Cancer & The Fifth Digestive Disease Endoscopy and Liver Diseases Forum,which hosted by TMUCIH, Prof. El-Omar visited our hospital and made academic exchanges with faculty. And through this face-to-face communication, the both sides discussed potential collaboration in clinical treatment and scientific research.

Prof. El-Omar visited Dept.of Molecular Radiation Oncology, Tumor Molecular Diagnosis Core, Tissue Bank Facility and Dept.of Endoscopy.
