Dr. Cao was engaged in tumor pathology and molecular pathology diagnosis and related scientific research. Every year, she made more than 700 frozen section diagnoses, more than 2000 routine pathological diagnoses and participated in more than 8000 consultation cases.

Dr. Cao was graduated from Tianjin Medical University with a oncology Ph.D degree in 2007. During that period, She was a doctoral researcher at the State Key Laboratory of Molecular Oncology, Institute of Oncology, Chinese Academy of Medical Sciences, and later as a senior visiting scholar/postdoctoral researcher at the Department of Pathology and Microbiology at UNMC in USA.

As a postgraduate tutor and PI of Tianjin Cancer Institute & Hospital, Dr. Cao’s main research direction is the molecular mechanism related to the occurrence and progression of lung cancer and endometrial cancer. Dr. Cao has presided over 10 scientific research projects at the national, provincial, ministerial and municipal bureau level and won the Third Prize for Scientific and Technological Progress in 2018, as the first author and corresponding author, Dr. Cao has published nearly 20 SCI papers and more than 20 papers in core journal.
